Alaska Rental Service

Rentals are delivered to and picked up from the ship.
Check the Quick Reference Guide for a list of sailing that offer rentals and the "order by deadline".
We recommend placing your order no less than 28 days before sailing.
Orders 20 - 15 days prior to sailing may be possible through contacting Customer Care.
Back-to-Back Cruises: Rental period is per cruise. For back-to-back cruise rentals you MUST place an order for each segment to keep the rentals for the full duration of your trip. Failure to pre-order for all segments will result in a higher rental fees once on baard.

Damage Deposit

Damage Fee will be applied to the credit card used to rent boots, waterproof pants and/or trekking poles. If any of the gear is not returned or returned damaged the following rates apply: Boots: US$100, Pants: US$60, Poles: US$70

Rentals Cancellation Policies

Cancellation before the "order by deadline": full refund (rental)
Cancellation after the "order by deadline": no rental refund (rental fee not refunded)
Check the Quick Reference Guide for the "order by deadline"
No refund - for any/all rental items after they have been delivered to the ship, if even they have not been used/unopened/returned to staff. No rental refund (rental fee not refunded)

Save Space, Rent Boots

Though essential for wading in icy waters during Zodiac landings, the proper boots are bulky and weigh between 4.5 lbs / 2.5 kgs to 6 pounds / 2.73 kgs. By renting boots, you are guaranteed to have the best boot to stay warm and dry in Alaska, while gaining space in your luggage for expedition gear and clothing.

Rest assured, all boots are sanitized after each rental using products that have been proven to work in U.S. high-end ski resort rentals.
